Justin and Cole have been performing and writing music together for near on 10 years. Honing in on their craft led them to the collaboration, 'Daytripper'. Focusing on acoustic instruments, they write in a style of alt-rock while incorporating instruments you'd normally hear in bluegrass music, such as the mandolin, banjo and upright bass. Both Justin and Cole have been lead vocalists in other groups, and use this to an advantage. They trade songs, using two unique voices to add an extra layer of originality to their music, while also belting out strong harmonies that they have crafted over many years of playing together at small parties and in the living rooms of each others houses. They bring that small house-show energy to any stage they perform on, leaving audiences stomping their feet and singing along like it's a simple campfire full of friends.
DAYTRIPPER ANNOUNCED SEPTEMBER 2021: "Super excited to have Jace England join Daytripper on percussion. This dude is legit and is now an official DayTripper."
Daytripper is a project by Justin Cecil, Cole Kemmer and Jace England to bring awesome new original music and a colorful acoustic spin on covers! Enjoy the show!
Due to reasons beyond our control, the archive of Daytripper is not available.

Soul, groove, and heritage. The boys are back LIVE 'In the House.' Grinder House. Once Experienced. Never Forgotten.
Plenty of words could be used to describe the music and performance of Brother Maven, but these three stand out among all the rest. The band showcases a diversity of styles as they combine elements of Rhythm & Blues, Southern Soul, Rock ‘n’ Roll and Country to create their own distinct sound. The songs are comprised of catchy melodies, soaring vocals, and infectious rhythms that deeply resonate during even the first listen. Hailing from four different hometowns in four different states, Daniel, Scott, JP and Joel formed the group in Nashville, Tennessee, after each making the move to pursue their own musical dreams. Now, they come together to create one of the most exciting and soulful original music experiences found in Music City.
The belief in the power of one note to communicate a lifetime’s worth of heartache or triumph and the potential for one song to perfectly capture a feeling… Brother Maven seeks to fill their songs with the same human spirit that has made American music so powerful and relatable throughout the years and to repackage it for listeners in the modern day.
Soul, groove, and heritage.

Born to a stand-up comedian and an actress, Knoxville-raised Sam Hatmaker assumed from a very young age that everyone was just supposed to be on stage, so she decided she would become a singer. At 10
years old, her path became even more clear when she began performing in shows at Dollywood (even though by then she had figured out that not
everyone had to be on stage). She moved to Nashville after signing her first publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music at the age of 16. In 2019 Sam recorded her debut EP with Grammy award-winning
producer Nathan Chapman.
Sam performed at Grinder House Coffee in early June for our local event, Friday At The Crossroads and were so impressed we are welcoming her back to the 'In the House' stage.

Sophia John, guest on the New Music Food TruckThis week's menu we got to Sweden to meet "The Best Band Since The Black-Eyed Peas," Internet Friends!  Internet Friends is the creation of Fredrik Soila, Jakob Falkendal and Noel Hassling Offrell who grew up together in Gothenburg, a city known as “Little London” that is fast becoming one of Europe’s capitals of culture.Constantly in an underdog position, professional martyrs Fredrik, Jakob and Noel keep proving to suits with vague competence that modern day pop can be both bold and ticklish at the same time. You may recognize them by their their ultra-catchy hooks that must be stolen from somewhere, their humbleness, but most of all their live shows that always turn into the best party you’ve ever been to. The band formed in 2018 and after self releasing the first singles the band were fast gaining the attention of the music business in Sweden and internationally, eventually signing to Berlin’s Duchess Box Records in a coop with their distributor Redeye/Border Music. Cousin Corey talks with the the guys on this week's Blue Plate Special.
