Melissa Ellis is a singer/songwriter for fans of classic jazz sirens, soulful singers of the 60's, and adult contemporary voices.

Melissa possesses a distinct voice and style that is unequalled by any other. A signature blend of jazz, blues, and blue-eyed soul, her voice packs one serious punch, with a charming southern accent.

She has played and entertained at Grinder House on several occasions and we are also looking forward to her Dec.11th Christmas Spirit performance at Grinder House, prior to the Crossville Christmas parade! Great fun last year!

"In the House" at the Grinder House is broadcast live on WFMC Jams every Saturday from 6-8pm central.

The station was founded on June 24, 2012 right after the Third Annual Fam Jam music festival in Manchester, TN.
