WFMC Jams

WFMC Jams is an online internet radio station committed to bringing you original music as well as your favorite classics from a variety of local artists in the area. The station was founded on June 24, 2012 right after the Third Annual Fam Jam music festival in Manchester, TN. The idea came up as a way to continue to give back to the local and regional songwriters and performers in the area year round by promoting their music.

Year of October is a fuzzed out rock band from Nashville, TN. They travel the U.S. in a minivan to bring their dirty riffs and dark grooves to people everywhere. Formed by Josh and Phlecia Sullivan in 2010 while they were attending the University of Kentucky, their original music has been described as a Black Sabbath sound with Amy Winehouse in the lead. Their 2017 album “Trouble Comes” was named Best Rock Album at the Nashville Industry Music Awards, which has helped them become a staple in the Nashville rock scene and led to a more extensive tour schedule. They know how to put on a powerful rock show and pull people in with their dynamics and energetic performances. Be on the look out for new shows and music coming your way soon!

Southern born and raised, Craig Hendricks has called home from the Piedmont of Middle Georgia to the Alabama heights of Lookout Mountain. Craig has found his place on stages from Savannah, GA to Rangeley, ME and from Fort Payne, AL to Gatlinburg, TN. Craig has been a regular at Arts in the Heart of Augusta, GA Festival, has appeared in the Crystelle Creek Songwriter's Showcase in Gatlinburg, TN, placed in the Texaco Country Showdown as a performer and a songwriter, and has performed with some of the brightest talent in the southeast, including award winning songwriters and performers.
Craig brings his own unique character and smooth style to create a personal and interactive experience for his listeners. He also brings the charisma often found in troubadours of yesteryear as a national award winner for his songwriting and recognition of his vocal talents.

Less than a year later, the Drive-By Truckers returned to Decatur, AL Friday evening at the historic Princess Theatre for one of two shows with an epic performance.   The tour is primarily focused on stops across the South, but also includes a few stops in the North in early December to Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Washington.  Ticket information for Saturday's show and other shows can be found on Princess Theatre website.  More details on the fall tour can be found on the official Drive-By Truckers Site as well as information on their latest releases.
