WFMC Jams

WFMC Jams is an online internet radio station committed to bringing you original music as well as your favorite classics from a variety of local artists in the area. The station was founded on June 24, 2012 right after the Third Annual Fam Jam music festival in Manchester, TN. The idea came up as a way to continue to give back to the local and regional songwriters and performers in the area year round by promoting their music.

"In the House" at the Grinder House is broadcast live on WFMC Jams every Friday from 6-8pm central.

Jamie began playing guitar at the age of 13 and like his Grandfather soon was making music on stage. Jamie began playing a snare and hi hat in church along side Ray Thompson from Mobile Alabama and developed that itch that all musicians get! By the time he turned 19 Jamie was playing locally in Mobile at local clubs like Austin's Country Palace, The Wild Wild West, other venues around the south. It wasn't long Jamie was packing his bags and heading north to Nashville where he spent the next 19 years developing his style, his voice, and his writing skills. Jamie shared a stage with greats like Steve Cropper, Jerry Waddell, Blind Mississippi Morris, Mark Collie, Terry Lee Burns, and Steve Saunders. All these talented individuals shared their love for music with Jamie and helped him build a solid foundation that will carry him through the rest of his career. So, if you love music, real honest music, with heartfelt lyrics, just take a listen and you will hear the difference.
We welcome Jamie back to Grinder House every chance we get! Look for some future dates for a possible Saturday Smokin' on the Plateau series.

From Reidsville, North Carolina, Debi Champion began singing with cousins and friends in her home state, then as a solo performer and later with duo's and bands all over NC, SC, Georgia, Virginia, and Maryland. She then moved to South Florida in 1976. Debi's unique blend of country, rock, and jazz made her one of the area's favorite entertainers. In 1978 she won the Mark Allen Critic's Choice Award for "Best Female Vocalist" and in 1985 she won the South Florida Music Award for "Best Rock/Pop/Blues Female Vocalist". Debi has appeared in concert with such diverse artists as Spyro Gyra, Bob James, Leon Russell, Dan Seals, The Dirt Band, Gary Morris, Kris Kristopherson, Restless Heart, Suzi Boggus, Dave Mason, Marshall Tucker Band, Ronnie Milsap, Three Dog Night, The Bama Band, and Mark O'Conner. She also toured as a back-up vocalist with Miami Dolphin, Tim Foley, and sang with the Miami Symphony.

Reba Nicole, a native of Houma, Louisiana has been actively pursuing music since she was 5 years old. She began piano and voice lessons around this time and quickly fell in love with how music made her feel. In 2005, her family made a big move to Tullahoma, Tennessee. Here, she met a few of her inspirations, Amy Cooley and Peggy Burton. At nine years old, she became aware of the power that lyrics can hold, and began her writing career. Reba has been performing in the local South Jackson Goes Country Show every year for the last 15 years! This is really where she found her voice and love for performing on stage! Around age 15, Reba picked up the guitar and began using those skills to dig deeper into her writing. Since then, Reba has become a traveling nurse in Labor & Delivery. “I want to thank my parents for believing in me and supporting me always! With their help, I’ve challenged myself to the big stage and now work with big-time musicians Charlie Allen, Johnny Garcia, and others! If it weren’t for Tiffany (Charlie’s fiancé)and my parents, I never would’ve met Charlie! I am incredibly grateful to soon release my new album! Be on the lookout for my new single, “Pour Me Some Whiskey!”
