This week's menu  we feature a straight up Pop Punk band from Providence, Rhode Island, Makeout!  MAKEOUT (formerly Trophy Wives) is drummer Scott Eckel, lead guitarist Tyler Young and vocalist Kyle Dee. The group's debut album, The Good Life, was released in 2017. After parting ways with their previous vocalist in 2019, Makeout had to gruelingly search to find the right someone to fit the sound and the overall energy of the band until Kyle Dee came along in 2020. Their song 'Home,' with Kyle on lead was released just as the pandemic shut everything down. The band spent the lockdown writing and recording a new album due out in 2023, tentatively called 'Figure It Out'. The Fall 2022 Figure It Out Tour is Makeout’s first headlining tour with their new vocalist who puts a whole new spin on their music.  Cousin Corey caught the guys on tour in Colorado on this week's Blue Plate Special.
